HORRIBLE! Black Michigan Man Beats the Hell Out of Unsuspecting White Man in Macy’s — Police Investigating (VIDEO)
This clip has mega millions of views, 5 million on Snapchat and millions on Twitter from several accounts —
A young black man was filmed beating the crap out of an older man inside the just re-opened Macy’s at the Genesee Valley Center mall in Flint, Michigan.
So far it is hearsay about what the white man said that triggered the black man to attack him.
I highly doubt a employee of Maceys would have said that word and there is no video evidence of the man even being on the phone so that already shows to be a lie.
Seems to me the black man overreacted to something he wasn’t even for sure about. We call that a knee jerk reaction.
Even if the Macy’s employee said something that was derogatory it still does not give legal action for another person to put their hands on them.
This is Flint Township police, Michigan State Police-Flint post, and Genesee County sheriff’s police.
The assault happened on on Monday or Tuesday. The camera caught the face of the perpetrator perfectly.
In the video that was filmed by the black man’s friend — he sneaks up behind the man and smacks in in the head.
The initial reporting on line claimed the older man allegedly randomly said the n-word to some muscular young man in Macy’s — other social media comments say it started because the younger man wasn’t wearing a mask, just like the Flint murder at the dollar store.
This is a brutal assault.
Isn’t it interesting that you rarely if ever see a burly white man beating the hell out of an unsuspecting older black man?
The New York Post reported:
The incident, posted on Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, shows an unidentified white man wearing a mask and speaking on a cell phone inside a Macy’s department store at the Genesee Valley Center mall when a black man approaches him and punches him.
The white man, who is knocked to the ground by the punch, turns and asks, “what are you doing that for?”
“I didn’t touch you… I’m sorry,” he said, as he attempts to crawl away but is instead punched two more times.
The — looks like a Macy’s employee with black slacks and black shoes — he’s obviously not on his cell phone, as some comments claim.
It looks more like a random assault.
Police investigating video of beating inside Genesee Valley mall
(This story has been updated with comment from a Macy’s spokeswoman.)
FLINT TWP., MI — Township police say they are investigating the beating of a man inside the Macy’s store at the Genesee Valley Center this week, an assault captured on video and circulated on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube.
In the video, a man wearing a cloth mask is talking on a cell phone when he’s punched in the head by another man.
“What are you doing that for?” the man who was punched asks after he was knocked to the floor, extending his hand to keep the man who hit him away.
The man who punched the other man stands over him on the ground, telling him to not touch him.
Watch the video on YouTube here.
“I didn’t touch you … I’m sorry,” the man on the ground says before he’s punched twice more by the man.
MLive-The Flint Journal could not immediately reach a spokeswoman for Genesee Valley Center regarding the incident, but township police Lt. Brad Wangler confirmed the department is investigating the incident captured in the video and what preceded it.
“Yes we are investigating and at this point, no one is in custody,” Wangler said in an email.
A Macy’s spokeswoman said both the store and the shopping mall have added security officers since the incident.
“We are deeply saddened about the incident that took place on Monday at Macy’s Genesee Valley as the safety of Macy’s customers and colleagues is our top priority,” Andrea Schwartz, senior director of media relations for Macy’s, said in an email to The Journal. “We take these situations very seriously and are working closely with local authorities on this investigation, deferring all comments about the case to them per policy.”
