President Donald Trump will hold his first public rally Saturday afternoon from the White House balcony since successfully beating the novel coronavirus last week, after a short stint at Walter Reed Military Medical Center.

The President is expected to address roughly 1000 supporters from the balcony on the South Lawn. The decision to do so has been criticized by his detractors who say the Commander and Chief may still be contagious.

“People are going to get immediately better like I did. I mean, I feel better now than I did two weeks ago. It’s crazy,” President Donald Trump

On Friday, President Trump addressed the nation from Rush Limbaugh’s talk radio show. He slammed his opposition and those who questioned his release from the hospital saying, “people are going to get immediately better like I did. I mean, I feel better now than I did two weeks ago. It’s crazy. And I recovered immediately, almost immediately. I might not have recovered at all from covid.”

Since Trump’s release from the hospital, he’s been Isolated in the White House for a fifth straight day. Former Vice President and Democratic challenger Joe Biden, campaigned in Nevada on Friday. He too, wasn’t immune from criticism regarding personal decisions in the time of coronavirus.

Biden’s address went viral on Twitter after he pulled down his mask to cough in his hand during his speech.
